National Religious Vocation Conference (NRVC): Communication Skills to Promote Vocations Workshop: July 22-24, 2019
This workshop is created from the syllabus of the NRVC Vocation Ambassadors Program and will teach those vested in vocation ministry and new membership how best to promote vocations through diverse platforms. This interactive, hands-on workshop will focus on practicing new ideas, strategizing for more effective communications and avoiding online mistakes.
At the end of last March, Fr. General, Saverio Cannistrà, began a pastoral visit to the brothers and sisters of Lebanon. Until the 14th of April, he visited all the convents and monasteries present in the semiprovince, to dialogue with the religious friars and nuns present in them, as well as the members of the OCDS. In response to the need to prepare sisters for formation ministry, the International Union of Superiors General (UISG) offers a programme in English for sisters taking up the responsibility of accompanying those in the initial stages of formation to religious life.
