Pallottines - Mission: Philippines
In Asia’s foothold of Christianity, the Society of the Catholic Apostolate & India’s Khrist Jyoti Province forge forth with the feet of Pallotti, under the country’s sacred patron, the Infant Jesus.
Our Society’s Fathers arrived in 2010 to Bacolod City, the capital of the Negros Occidental Province. Part of India’s Khrist Jyoti Province- situated in Raipur- there are presently two missions witnessing a surge of growth; a formation house, and two parishes. The Formation House is located in Bata, and was blessed in 2014. At that time, Bacolod Bishop Most Rev. Vicente Navarra celebrated Holy Mass, while Rector General Fr. Jacob Nampudakam imparting his blessing of inauguration. In attendance also were Fr. Peter Sticco (Provincial, Immaculate Conception Province, USA), Fr. Shanti Panni (Provincial, Khrist Jyothi), as well as Fr. Eugene san (Regional Superior, Mary Queen of the World, Australia).
