XXI Plenary Assembly of the International Union of Superiors General (UISG)

From 6‐10 May, the XXI Plenary Assembly of the UISG will take place at the Ergife Hotel in Rome. The theme is “Sowers of Prophetic Hope.” Sr. Carmen Sammut, msola, in a video announcing the Assembly, said that this theme urges us to consider how women religious can be signs of hope “in a world of division and war” and “for the many women and children who suffer”. This commemoration has offered the Church and the Order an extraordinary opportunity to reflect on and study the topic of open and respectful dialogue with Islam and, of course, with other religious faiths.
