Dear Sisters,
Greetings from UISG – Rome, especially from Sr. Patricia Murray, IBVM and me.
Talitha Kum / UISG is pleased to draw your attention to two on-line courses developed by Saint Leo University (Florida, USA). Ten religious sisters took part at the first two courses.
Formation is one of the priorities of Talitha Kum, the worldwide Network of Religious Life against Trafficking in Persons. To combat this scourge for humanity, sisters require specific skills and on-going formation.
The courses are specifically for the Catholic Sisters, interested in getting involved with Talitha Kum networks or to improve their professional skills in anti-trafficking. The course titles are: “Human Trafficking” and “Project Management”, both are continuing education courses and upon completion of all course requirements, the Sisters will receive a “Certificate of Completion.”
Target group consists of Sisters based in African Countries. The twelve weeks of online learning will run in 2019 from January 14th to July 29th.
Please find attached the application form of Saint Leo University with more details on the two on-line courses.
