#300 La Salle Commemoration of the 300th Anniversary of the Death of the Founder of the Brothers of the Christian Schools (FSC)
In 2019, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 300th anniversary of the death of St. John Baptist de la Salle, the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools will celebrate the event with the theme: La Salle 1719-2019. One Heart, One Commitment, One Life. For this reason, the Holy See has granted a Jubilee Year from November 17, 2018 to December 31, 2019. Continue reading

Pauline Family: Centenary of the Pauline Cooperators
From 18-27 May, an International Encounter of the Pauline Cooperators was held in Italy to celebrate the Association’s Centenary of Foundation.
The program included visits to the sites associated with the Pauline Family and St. Paul in Rome, a 2-day Congress on the theme What It Means To Be a Pauline Cooperator in the Church Today:
Scolopi: Fr. General will participate in the Synod of Bishops on “Youth, Faith and Vocational Discernment”
Fr. General, Pedro Aguado, has been elected by the Union of General Superiors to participate in the upcoming Synod of Bishops to be held in Rome. The Union of General Superiors (UGS) can participate in the Synod with some representatives, and Fr. General has been elected to this function at the UGS General Assembly held in Ariccia, near Rome. From 21 to 25 May 2018, the Generalate of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Rome opened the doors to an international seminar on the Rights of Children, Citizenship and School. Guests from all over the world took part, coming from the vast educational landscape of the Lasallian Institute and from organizations especially dedicated to the promotion of rights and citizenship.
